Astra - Enlight your cycling

Manufactured by the skilled team at Basso, the Astra is equipped with modern tech and top-tier components. Its straight fork, rear triangle, and integrated seatpost clamp guarantee a responsive riding experience. Internal cable routing and the sophisticated stem/headset combo make this frame not only performant, but also a sleek addition to any bike collection.

The Astra is constructed with 100% 3k Torayca High Modulous Carbon Fiber, a combination of T700 and MR60, that maximizes its performance while adding just a few extra grams.

The geometry of the Astra is deeply inspired by Basso, originating from the steel models. Through years of continual improvement, the Astra preserves its competitive spirit yet is designed transversely to accommodate cyclists of varying expertise. A signature model that honors its roots while continually refining its features to maximize versatility.

Versatile and holistic

The Astra was designed for road cycling, but has been updated to provide a quieter and more comfortable ride. At nearly 980 g, the carbon frame remains lightweight, yet Basso has implemented several of its top-notch technical solutions including 35-mm tire clearance allowing for wider, off-road tires, and Paradigma technology for extra safety. Additionally, the Microtech all-road handlebars boost comfort and add an attractive look.
